Creating Movie Lists Has Never Been This Easy

FilmCrave is one of the first sites to allow movie lovers to create true custom movie lists with ease. Not only can you add a movie to one of the predefined lists - such as "best sci fi movies" you can also create your own - such as "movies I never get tired of." It is this way of thinking that sets FilmCrave apart from some of the others.

It begins with the ease of use. Members can add movies directly to their lists via the instant search box at the top and they can also go to virtually any other movie lists or movie page to add it to the list. From there, users can drag and drop to reorder the list in which case it is instantly saved. Another notable point is the way that the lists are computed. An overall top movie list is computed into the the final Tally of votes and rankings for the FilmCrave.com Top 100 Movies of All Time. Currently, the list does not reflect the best of movies, but it is fairly mainstream, so this is to be expected. A right side profile allows the member to switch back and forth easily as to what movie list to add to and display.

In addition to movie lists, filmcrave is also a source for member generated recent movie reviews- which are easy to create via ajax pop ups - and other social interaction. Members are encouraged to tell friends which movies they have recently see and which they want to see.

FilmCrave is a new kind of social networking site that depends on it's niche to be successful. As it stands currently, there is no slowing down this movie buff.

  • Men in Black III Movie Review (2.5/4 Stars)

The original Men in Black was a rather fun look into a secret organization that monitors the vast alien activity on earth (mostly in New York) - it was a new, comedic twist on sci fi. The second entry was a rather wasted affair - deflating all the fun of the original. Ten years later, the third entry comes along, and falls right in the middle of the two. Men in Black III still retains the humo... read more - 10 hours ago

  • Three Stooges, The Movie Review (2/4 Stars)

The Three Stooges is innocent, energetic, and has good intentions. Unfortunately, there isn't really any payoff. I didn't laugh. It's certainly not as bad as I thought it might be and not as annoying as I predicted, but it's not so good. I don't find these guys funny, and the problem is that these gags aren't funny anymore. Sure, they were funny while the show was on-air years ago, but that come... read more - 30 hours ago

  • Cabin in the Woods, The Movie Review (2.5/4 Stars)

Dana (Kristen Connolly), Curt (Chris Hemsworth), Jules (Anna Hutchison), Marty (Fran Kranz), and Holden (Jesse Williams) go on a vacation in a cabin. Some of the characters were irritating. This reviewer felt the direction was going in different places. Humor was not that effective though the effects and gore were there Performances were descent but the only thing interesting was the near con... read more - 43 hours ago

  • Hick Movie Review (1.5/4 Stars)

Hick could have been trashy entertainment, but instead it's just trash. An uninteresting and rather dull trifle of a film. Chloe Grace Moretz has already proven herself to be a great young actress, she was the saving grace of Kick Ass, and while she is good here she is unable to raise the material she's given. Characters come and go, the story is nothing new, and it just goes on and on as yo... read more - 45 hours ago

  • Avengers, The (2012) Movie Review (4/4 Stars)

I have never been into Marvel comic, or really any of the character till Ironman came out and then, the Hulk, and more that i still have to see, and even more that i have to see many more times just because I am now hooked on them. I was very glad to be able to see this opening weekend. I am planning another trip to the theater to see it again and this may be the first movie that i will be wait... read more - 3 days ago
